Accusculpt, also known as facial liposuction, is a minimally invasive laser-assisted liposuction technique that targets and removes excess fat deposits in the face. The laser also stimulates collagen production, which helps tighten the skin and improve overall face contour.

The results of Accusculpt are considered long-lasting as the fat cells that were removed do not regenerate. However, maintaining a stable weight is essential since significant weight gain can cause remaining fat cells in the area to expand, affecting the results. With a healthy lifestyle, the effects can last up to 5 to 10 years depending on the patient.

Depending on the clinic, there may or may not be a tiny incision after Accusculpt. If an incision is made, a small stitch will be placed, which typically needs to be removed seven days after surgery. However, the incision is so small that it is unlikely to leave any visible scars. Additionally, some clinics perform the procedure without requiring stitch removal, further simplifying recovery.

Recovery after facial liposuction is relatively quick. Most patients experience some swelling and bruising for about 1 to 2 weeks.
